I've come across a number of people that are now switching to working online and are considering using skype as their medium for private lessons, consultations, conference calls, etc. There're many reasons why I think young, fledgling online teachers should start with skype, but the primary one is the cost. Skype is free, and you can't beat it. If you know how to use it, skype becomes a great asset not just for video calls, but also for mini-conferences. Plus, you can enhance your skype experience by downloading a recording program that will help you store all your important calls and messages. So if you know almost nothing about skype and would like to get a crash-course with benefits I have created a tutorial for you. Feel free to watch it and comment on what you think about it. Have fun! (The video is unlisted, and I really don't want to make it public, but it can be viewed HERE).
